Night walking one time and it was so blue that I just stopped and stared at it for a good while, taking it all in. That same body would cut me down some while later on, but I still find myself gazing up, just thinking about her power, what she showed me, about me, over me, and because of me. And I have no regrets exactly, because God works out everything in good favor, but still, what a strike it was. I still love seeing her shine herself on the chaparral, making the cracked rusty sand shadow and glow, highlighting our scurrying lives doing their thing.
