I'm chasing a phantom, all because we caught eyes passing through spacer-zones that one time. I mean, the only thing less probable than intersecting her again would be getting my own Hertey flux; it's all pretty grim. But ever since the Deboup shift half a kiliyear ago, it's hard not to hope in wildly improbable ways. I mean, the minute God decided to reveal Himself unequivocally benevolently omnipotently Godlike, it's been hard not to live life a bit more optimistically. But still, here I am, jumping over and over, back and forth, through and through, using up all my spare Grisons, just hoping to somehow, someway intersect those eyes again. So here I go again.
